What the fuck happened to me? When did I become a loser that stays at home in their pjs all day and does not even have 1 friend to call. I used to be so social, but now on my days off I just lay around all day. I want to do something!! I'm bored.

So I've rediscovered livejournal. As of late I'm a little more technologically advanced. I broke down and bought a blackberry..or "crackberry" as Kris calls it. So right now I feel like Rev. Run at the end of his tv show, blogging about my life from my blackberry. Except I would never take mine in the tub. I'm on my couch watching the opening ceremonies of the olympic games. So since I'm here on livejournal I might as well give an update for whoever reads this still.
Apparently its been 97 weeks since I last updated. A lot has happened since then. The biggest event is there are only 3 more months until Kris and I get married! This consumes all of my thoughts. I can't wait until it happens, but the only problem is we are scraping for cash. It sucks being poor, it really does. Currently I'm working at the local Ruby Tuesdays and not making any money. No one really has money right now, so I shouldn't complain too much but I wish I had enough to pay for the wedding. If anyone has an extra thousand dollars laying around that they want to get rid of, I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands.:-)
I feel like a bum because although I can complain about money there is so much more I am thankful for. Kris is the most loving and caring man I could ever wish for. We have an amazing relationship. I still get excited when he comes home from work in the evening. He truly is my other half. If I had nothing else in the world except for his love I'd still be the happiest woman on earth.
Another amazing event, Kris' sister had a baby! So now I have a beautiful niece. Rylee Ann Erickson is the sweetest, most innocent child I've ever layed eyes on. I love her with all my heart. I take care of her in the afternoons while Jen goes to work. It really makes me look forward to having my own babies someday soon. She is the queen, not just the princess, of the family. Everyone adores her!
I suppose I should finish this off for now. Now I understand why Rev. Run doesn't write very much on his blackberry my fingers are starting to cramp! I'll try to update more. I need to get a new picture, the one on here is more than a little old!

So friends. All kidding aside, I will be in Lakeland from May 29th until around August 10th. The only thing I'm sad about is the boy I am absoulty in love with lives in Illinois. 8 weeks isn't too long, right?
I've never been so happy.

So, Mardi Gras just passed. I stayed the night in St. Louis, but unfortunatly Nate and I were super sick so we just layed in bed all night instead of going out to the party downtown. We had such a nice hotel. We had a view of the arch! I didn't get to go inside, but that is on my "to-do" list.
Also, some bad news kids. I'm not going to be coming down for spring break. I'm going to spend all of my time in Atlanta with my sister instead. I guess I'll see most of you over summer vacation.

So Valentines Day isn't going to be the bust I thought it was. Nate and I are going shopping this afternoon so I can get a dress for the formal dinner his fraternaty is having on Thursday. After we shop he is taking me out to dinner! We were going to go out to a movie, but nothing looks good enough to spend $7 on. I wanted to go see Brokeback Mountain, but he didn't want to see a movie about gay cowboys. I guess I'll have to see it on my own at a later date. Today is a perfect day, it's like 60-something degrees so I took advantage of it and I'm wearing a skirt. It feels nice to be free of jeans!! Not a whole lot has been going on lately. My internet in my room is broken so I'm trying to do everything I can while I'm in class right now. I hope everyone is having a good day despite the fact that it's Valentines Day.

School has been good to me so far this semester. There has been some bumps in the road, but this semester is much better than the last one. I've finally found someone who makes me happy. I was going to swear off boys for the rest of college, but I had to make an exception for this one. I hate to be trite, but we have so much in common it's almost scary. Even when I say things like, "I hate sour cream, not because it tastes gross but just because of the name" he totally agrees with me. His name is Nate, he doesn't go to my school but he goes to the other school in my town. I'm going to Atlanta fro spring break, so I won't see any of you until the summer. Although normally I would be bummed out about this, I've become somewhat apathetic about the whole thing. I'm not going to settle down in Florida anyway, so ::shrug:: Sorry to be so blunt about it. I had fun with the people I spent time with over xmas break, but it's never the same. I guess whoever said this is right, "You can never go home"

Hey everyone! Finally my first semester of college is over and I'm allowed to come back to Lakeland! I am leaving Missouri Friday morning, I think I'll be back by saturday night or sunday afternoon. I'm pretty excited to get off campus for awhile. See you all soon. :-)
